    About this paper

    Isometric graph paper

Isometric paper is made of equilateral triangles. Its three line directions match the axes of an isometric projection, so cubes, boxes and buildings come out with correct proportions and no perspective distortion.

The spacing sets the side length of each triangle. Larger triangles are easier for beginners; smaller ones give more detail.

    Frequently asked questions

    What angle is isometric paper?

The lines run at 30° and 150° from horizontal, plus vertical lines, so they meet at 60° and form equilateral triangles.

How do I make sure the grid prints at the right size?

In the print dialog choose “Actual size”, “100%” or “No scaling”, and turn off “Fit to page” or “Shrink to fit”. To confirm, print our free calibration test sheet and measure the 10 cm line with a ruler.

Is it free for commercial use?

Yes. There is no account, no watermark and no download limit. You can use the paper for classes, worksheets, products and client work.
