Wulff net (stereonet)
A Wulff net is the stereographic projection of a sphere’s meridians and parallels. Great circles run from north to south, and small circles curve around the N–S axis. Here they are drawn every 2°, with bolder lines every 10° and N, E, S and W marked around the rim.
The usual workflow is to pin tracing paper over the center, plot your data on it and rotate it over the net to measure angles. Choose 5°, 10° or a coarser interval for a lighter net that is easier to read.
